Maple Cake Dessert

Ingredients:

• 1 lemon cake mix
• 19 oz. can unsweetened crushed pineapple
• 1/4 c. maple syrup
• 8 oz. cream cheese
• 1 1/2 c. milk
• 1 tblsp. maple syrup
• 1 pkg. lemon or vanilla instant pudding
• Cool Whip

1. Mix cake mix and bake as directed (use 9" x 13" pan).
2. Mix together pineapple and 1/4 c. maple syrup.
3. Immediately when cake is baked and removed from the
4. oven, spread the pineapple mixture over the cake.  Let
5. cool for at least one hour.
6. Beat cream cheese in medium size bowl and blend in milk, maple syrup, and pudding until smooth.
7. Spread over the cake and refrigerate until ready to serve.
8. Top cake with cool whip and drizzle maple syrup over each serving.
